II. Story

Storytelling is an amazing way to communicate!  Whether you are hoping to start a conversation or explain a spiritual concept, using a story helps your ideas come to life.

This course will introduce the main elements needed for creating good stories*.  It will discuss story structure and how to add human elements that will connect with your audience.  And it will provide practical tips for building stories that have a message to share.

Finally, the course will show examples of good stories used in media presentations.  And it will challenge you to start writing one of your own!

Course goal:  Explain the key elements of storytelling and structure and introduce ways to share ministry messages using stories.

Practical goal:  Students will write stories which will target and engage their audience with life-changing messages.
