A good script explains what a story is about, but a camera helps bring the story to life! The production process captures the visual and audible elements which are blended to create powerful, life-changing videos.
This course starts with the camera, including setup, composition, movement and tips on best practices to get quality images. The course also covers audio and lighting techniques and ends with an introduction to the editing process.
Students will be encouraged to practice each step of the process as they work on projects of their own.
Course goal: Explain the primary production elements, including cameras, audio, lighting and editing.
Practical goal: Students will use the production elements to create videos using the skills explained in the course.
